Poutvaara Space Agency
Poutvaara Space Agency, PSA, makes models and derives from them visualizations of Global, Solar System and Space subjects.
We can also perform consultancy, planning and design.

PSA Project samples

Poutvaara Globe, Earth model
Description Modelling of Earth showing seas, continents, ice cover and largest water systems.
Project Type Modelling in 3D-format the Earth. Also 3D-scale models, which can be produced materially.
Client Can be used in various instances: virtual model, scale model and material scale model.

Eclipses
Description Visualizations of solar eclipses are occasionally made. We can receive orders to photograph future eclipses anywhere to World. We can deliver event visualizations and situation pictures, but there are existing small risks related to the cloud cover of the sky. The work is realized with Nikon FX -cell size system camera with one meter focal distance and in preplanning and graphic presentation we use AutoCAD. This event photography has been exercised for a decade.

Client All media and scientific requests are considered. Please note we do not operate in real time and it could take minimum several hours after the event before the final visualization is complete. When working in more remote areas the access for desktop computers is more limited.

Aviation analysis
Description Modelling of large-scale aviation incident in several continents. Case example MH370, which is a global interest.

Description Modelling of intercontinental flight paths by principle Great circle route providing also accurate distances meaning in popular language: “As crow flies”, from point A to B by shortest distance.
