In the year 2024 I completed my most interesting photography discourse experiment so far: the founding of the image agency PPS. When the work was once started, it was most simple to continue into a new experiment: extension of the PPS. The extension quantity was selected as + 31.5 %. The work continued by old frames. The picture quantity of PPS is now equal to one photo per day for 55 years and 175 days. The photos are anyway mainly from the last 15 years.

A similar kind of development with PPS is the transition into using in addition to the DSLR -cameras also the DSLM -cameras. The main direction is also increasing digitality and keeping with the phase of technological development.

At Koli. This sight needs to be seen in different weather conditions. Taking risks is necessary, but needs to be taken with consideration and sufficiently carefully.

A new special feature is a picture selection that represents all Finland’s Metro stations, HSL-region local train stations, VR commuter train stations, Helsinki rapid tram stops and Tampere tram stops. At the same instance one has travelled more than fifty train journeys with VR and one has accumulated city-knowledge, but train travels and local traffic journeys has also been made in the Helsinki Metropolitan Region and Tampere.

Nature photograph quantity has also increased, I saw Northern Light twice in Suomenlinna and in the second time I also made seven pictures with Northern Lights and Shooting stars in the same image.

The Finnish Karelia -topic has also increased: although local public transport in the region is minimal. The solution is traditional: this year I have been moving outdoors a longer journey than what are the length of all Finland’s land borders. Few other days have been spent in office work, that is the plan for the future.
